Traders for shifting Capital Development Authority’s Health Director, Dispensary to Director Municipal Administration office
Islamabad, January 24, 2014 (PPI-OT): The offices of CDA’s Directorate Health and Dispensary were established in F-7 Markaz, Jinnah Super Market, but CDA has shifted the dispensary far away from the city due to which traders are facing problems in getting trade licenses due to vaccination issues. Chairman and Member Administration CDA should issue urgent instructions for shifting the said dispensary to the office of Director Municipal Administration CDA to facilitate the traders.
This was demanded by Khalid Mehmood Chaudhry, Central Secretary Information, Traders Action Committee Islamabad and Senior Vice President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry while addressing the traders at Chamber House. He said DMA is responsible to issue trade licenses for which traders have to get vaccination certificate from Health Directorate. But shifting of dispensary to an unknown place is causing problems for traders in vaccination. Due to this situation, 50 percent reduction in obtaining trade is being witnessed which is harmful for the growth of business activities while CDA is also losing revenue on this account.
Khalid Chaudhry further stated that since DMA and Directorate Health both are CDA departments and by establishing dispensary in DMA office at Fire Brigade, would not only resolve the problems of traders, it would also give boost to CDA’s revenue. Therefore CDA should immediately look into this serious problems to facilitate the traders, he stressed.
