Faisalabad: The strong and robust GSC can yield positive and best results on the overall development of the company, newly constructed building of GSC Directorate with Rs.35 million is a beautiful addition in the infrastructure of this DISCO, he was addressing a function after inaugurating office of GSC constructed in 132-KV University Grid Station here today.

An old and pending demand of GSC has been fulfilled with the construction of this building. Earlier, Chief Engineer/Project Director Tofiq Akbar Azad said that the construction of GSC office is part of 6th STG program. It has been completed within record period of 325 days and its covered area is 17200 square feet. He said that entire staff of GSC would be placed under one roof and this step would help in expediting the work of GSC.

He told that GSC was also executing deposit work of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) with an estimated cost of Rs.250 million and FIDMIC. He also enumerated the excellent services rendered by retiring Chief Engineer Sheikh Muhammad Ashraf and Sheikh Akhtar Hussain and said that we would try our best to follow their foot prints.

He also mentioned the shortage if staff in GSC which was also hindrance the overall performance of GSC. The Chief Executive taking immediate notice of this situation ordered to cancel the transfer order of GSC employees to operation and other departments. He directed that comprehensive report should be submitted so that additional furniture and fixture could be provided at early days.
