10 outlaws arrested: wine and weapons seized

Islamabad: Islamabad Police have arrested 10 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered looted items, 27 wine bottles, drugs and pistols from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.

According to details, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sohail Akram from Kohsar police arrested a thief Mazhar Iqbal while ASI Muhammad Hanif from Bhara Kahu police arrested a thief Waheed and recovered stolen items from their possession.

Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar from Margallah police arrested an accused Ilyas Masih and recovered 27 wine bottles from him while another accused Suleman Feeroz was arrested by him in possession of two thirty bore pistols.

ASI Murtaza Qamar from Shalimar police nabbed an accused Arif for possessing 30 bore pistol while Sub-Inspector Rab Nawaz from Tarnol police arrested a woman Phool Bibi during patrolling for having 115 gram heroin.

ASI Khalid Mehmud from Nilore police recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused Warasat and ASI Ashfaq Ahmed from Sihala police arrested a thief identified as Aamir besides recovering stolen valuables from him.

Sub-Inspector Zulfiqar Ahmed and ASI Haider Ali from CIA police arrested two accused Israr and Sohail Mehmud for having 30 bore pistol and 90 gram charas respectively.

SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to remain extra vigilant against anti-social elements.
