14th Safe and Secure Exhibition fetches over Rs200 million orders

Karachi, March 30, 2018 (PPI-OT): Contracts worth Rs200 million signed at the 3-day 14th International Safe Secure Pakistan Exhibition that concluded at Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad on a very successful note. The positive presence of foreign exhibitors at the exhibition view Pakistan as a potential market for this sector as the local market has become quality conscious and are investing in latest safety, security and surveillance technology, they have expressed their satisfaction over positive response during the exhibition.

“We see lots of potential in local market for the technology equipment our company is offering”, a foreign exhibitor remarked. “We are here in the exhibition for several time, we offer a complete family of security products. “Our product will be an essential item in the future scenario of security awareness in the country, Pakistan is now in the current security situation seems to be a big market for us, with the upcoming one road one belt feature of CPEC “, he added. Local exhibitors are also glad over the response they are receiving from the three day event.

“We have visited the exhibition last year and there only we decided to participate, this is our first time presence in Safe Secure Pakistan, we are having a good response, Pakistan’s local market for the safety and security products is now increasing”, a local exhibitor said.“ The quality of visitors also made us happy as what only we need is business to business dealing”, he added.

Federal Minister of State, Frontier Region, Lt Gen. (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch, had formally inaugurated the three days exhibition. In concurrence with the exhibition an international Safe Secure Conference held at Pak-China friend center, featuring the theme focusing on, “Importance of Integrated Safety and Security in Today’s Environment”. The 8th edition of the conference had an exclusive session on “Developing Resilient Infrastructure in Secure Environment” along with other session on,”. The future of fire safety, Raising Building Codes and Standards for Safer Cities and Industrialization”.

Exhibitors from more than Twenty Eight countries including, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, France, Finland, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Slovenia, Sweden, Spain, Taiwan, UAE, China, UK, USA, Germany, Norway, Korea, Japan, Canada, Czech Republic, Turkey, Italy, Denmark, Iran and Pakistan have displayed their brands at the Safe Secure International exhibition.

During the three days of the exhibition, business professionals, representatives from corporate sector, foreign diplomats, foreign defense attaches and delegates, government officials and officers from various military, air force and other defense and related organization of defense industry have visited the exhibition and shown keen interest in the displayed products.
