15 killed in road accident near Burhan interchange

At least fifteen persons were killed while thirty others injured in a road accident near Burhan Interchange in Attock last night.

The local police reported that the bus overturned while passing through Burhan Interchange killing fifteen passengers then and there.

The injured were taken to nearby hospital, whereas seriously injured were referred to Rawalpindi hospital.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari expressing deep grief over the incident has directed the civil administration of Hassan Abdal to provide best hospital care to the victims.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has also expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the accident.
