Proclaimed Offender involved in double murder arrested


Islamabad: Islamabad Police on Wednesday arrested a proclaimed offender involved in committing double murder in the area of Nilore and later dumping the bodies in the area of Swan river, a police spokesman said. Crime rate in Islamabad decreases in 2011, Arms and weapons recovery rate increase

416135 road users imparted traffic education in 2011


Islamabad: With an objective to create self-responsibility among the road users to ensure traffic discipline in the city, Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) imparted education about traffic rules among 416135 persons during current year by visiting 64 institutions and holding informative workshops. Challans of 3571 cases submitted into courts during 2011


Islamabad: A total of 3571 cases were disposed off after completion of investigation on them during the current year and their challans were submitted by Islamabad police in the relevant courts, a police spokesman said.
