Lahore, February 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): President PHF, Brig (R) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar and Secretary PHF, Shahbaz Ahmed have expressed their grief over the demise of Abdul Saeed Khan brother of former Pakistan hockey captain Hanif Khan. President and the Secretary prayed that Almighty Allah may shower his blessings upon the departed soul and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss.

Niazi Sahib is trying to cover poor performance of KPK by Levelling Baseless Allegations: Shehbaz Sharif

Lahore, February 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the PML-N government has always set records of selfless service of people as our whole serving period is inscribed of it. He said that Niazi Sahib has also set records but of lies and U-TURN and depicted worst performance in the KPK from last four years. He said that sit-in group has made an irremissibly crime by creating hurdles in the progress of public and further added that these people who were indulged in levelling baseless allegations and impeachment, their real faces have been exposed before people and Niazi Sahib has now become “Lord of Liars”.

These opponents of public welfare are afraid of the popularity of the Muslim League, he shared. The Chief Minister said that astute people of Pakistan will never vote in the favor of these elements involved in negative politics as Niazi Sahib has introduced the culture of abusing and discourteous. They have shown worst performances in their province and now are involved in negative politics but people are fed up of their politics based on pessimism and mayhem. The Chief Minister hoped that these who have wasted the time of nation with their damaging politics won’t get anything but remorse only. He shared these thoughts while talking to a delegation of PML-N, here today. He additionally added that people have no concern with hollow slogans and adverse politics in-fact people of Pakistan only want development and prosperity.

He said that neither the conspiracy to mislead the public through artificial support of lie will be succeeded nor people will allow the deceptive elements who are hindering the voyage of development to get ahead in this respect. The Chief Minister said that people will held accountable these elements and we will keep moving forward without paying any heed to their conspiracies. He said that timely completion of development projects, their high quality and transparency are the trademark of PML-N government who have always kept the development and happiness of public at their very first preference. He said that serving people selflessly is our basic mission and we will attain it at any cost.

Public service is our aim while protest is the fortune of depressed elements as people do not want chaos and anarchy but development and prosperity, he shared. He further added that transparent projects of PML-N are self-exemplary which are acknowledged internationally. He said that good governance, merit and transparency are the foundations of our politics. The Chief Minister said that PML-N has set historical record of public service and has worked hard to take country forward and further hoped that they will keep striving hard and go ahead on the road of progress.

Special economic zones being established under CPEC: President

Islamabad, February 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): President Mamnoon Hussain has said that special economic zones are being established under CPEC to generate economic activities across the country. Talking to a delegation of businessmen in Karachi on Sunday, he said the PML-N government has laid strong foundations for development of the country during the last few years.

The President said peace has been restored in Karachi due to hectic efforts by the government which is very important for development of the country. Mamnoon Hussain emphasized the need of joint efforts beyond political affiliations for development of the city and the province. He assured the businessmen for solution of their problems.

Lahore High Court Bar Association Elections: Shehbaz Sharif congratulates Newly Elected President Anwar-Ul-Haq Pannu and Other Officials for their victory

Pakistan ranked 5th among world’s fast growing countries: Ahsan

Islamabad, February 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says Pakistan is ranked the fifth among the world’s fast growing countries. This he said while distributing six hundred ninety-one laptops among brilliant students in Narowal. The Minister said billions of dollars are being invested in the country under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He stressed upon parents and teachers to focus on the character-building of their children to serve the nation and the country in a better way. Ahsan Iqbal said for the first time in the country’s seventy-year history, university campuses are being opened in every district of the country.

Govt providing better communication facilities to remote areas: Asif

Islamabad, February 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the government is providing better communication facilities to the people of remote areas. He was inaugurating the newly constructed 17.88 KM-long main Sialkot-Kingra Road in Sialkot today. Khawaja Asif said the government spent 651 million rupees on the project for providing better means of communication to the people living in far-off villages along the Sialkot Working Boundary.

Rehman Medical Institute Peshawar’s role in healthcare services, health education appreciated

Islamabad, February 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Eng. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has appreciated the Peshawar based Rehman Medical Institute for its focus on prevention of disease besides very commendable role in provision of healthcare services and health education for a quite long time as an integral part of the community. He was addressing the prize distribution ceremony of the 3rd RMI Open Golf Tournament at Peshawar Golf Club on Sunday which was arranged by the management of the Institution in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Golf Association and Peshawar Golf Club.

A number of golfers from all over the country participated the event. The Governor said, “Promotion of healthy lifestyles is now globally recognized as the best tool for prevention against disease and several initiatives by RMI to organize and sponsor such healthy activities speaks highly of their sincerity towards their corporate social responsibilities”. Appreciating the conduct of the tournament, he said, it must have provided an opportunity for renewal and development of golfing skills, and initiation of new acquaintances to the participants.

“As all true sports lovers know, the beauty of the whole exercise is not just in winning but in participating”, he added. Peshawar, he said, has been blessed with one of the best golf courses in the country where enormous golfing talent exists and all it needs is some support and recognition in order to take them to a national and an international stage. Such events are a great opportunity to portray Peshawar and the province in a positive light, he said. While expressing good wishes to the participants, the Governor hoped that they would come back next year to enjoy the 4th edition of the Tournament. Earlier the Governor gave away prizes to the winners.
