Sindh Rangers arrest three criminals in Karachi

Islamabad, December 02, 2020 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Rangers Sindh has arrested three criminals during operations in various parts of Karachi. Weapons, looted items, and drugs were recovered from their possession. According to the spokesman of Rangers, the raids were carried out on secret information after investigation of various cases. He said that arrested criminals were involved in the robbery, snatching, drug smuggling and other heinous crimes. The spokesman said that the arrested criminals have been handed over to the police for further legal proceedings.

Masood lauds Saudi Arabia for its continued support to Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir

Islamabad, December 02, 2020 (PPI-OT): Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan has lauded Saudi Arabia for its continued support to Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir from the platform of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). In separate interviews with US-based Muslim Network TV and Saudi Arabia’s daily Arab News, he rejected the impression of withdrawal of support by Saudi Arabia to Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue.

Masood Khan said in the recent meeting of the OIC Foreign Ministers Council in Niger, the kingdom once again robustly explained its stand on the dispute and highlighted it on the global level. He said Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan, in his address to the OIC conference, stated in unequivocal terms that peace and security of South Asia is not possible without settlement of the Kashmir conflict. The AJK president said the statement by Prince Faisal is more significance because Saudi Arabia is the current chair of the OIC.

Rind stresses to adopt all precautionary measures against coronavirus

Islamabad, December 02, 2020 (PPI-OT): Balochistan Parliamentary Secretary for Information Bushra Rind has said that everyone should adopt all precautionary measures against spread of coronavirus. In a statement, she said that provincial government is strictly implementing standard operating procedure against COVID-19 in the province. She strongly criticized public gatherings of opposition parties and said such public gatherings are creating problems in this situation.

PESCO transmission system up-gradation plan in final stage: Omar

Islamabad, December 02, 2020 (PPI-OT): Minister for Power Division Omar Ayub says up-gradation plan worth 21 billion rupees of power transmission system of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) is in final stage. In a tweet, he said the plan would help address low voltage problem in entire Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said soon after approval of the plan, its implementation would be started.

Rs180m released for over 15K families of NW

Islamabad, December 02, 2020 (PPI-OT): The Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released one-hundred and eighty million rupees for more than fifteen-thousand families of North Waziristan. According to a spokesperson of PDMA, the said amount will be distributed through sim messages among registered families within two days. The said amount is being distributed amongst the families that were temporarily displaced during Operation Zarb e Azb and have now returned to their houses.

Masood urges world to take notice of massacre of Kashmiris in IIOJK

Islamabad, December 02, 2020 (PPI-OT): Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar called on President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan in Lahore today (Wednesday). The two leaders strongly condemned unprovoked firing along the Line of Control and atrocities in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ K). Speaking on the occasion, AJK President appreciated efforts of Governor Punjab for highlighting the Kashmir issue at international fora. Sardar Masood Khan urged the International organizations including the United Nations to take notice of the massacre of innocent Kashmiris in IIOJ K by Indian forces. Governor Punjab said fascist Modi is snatching land of Kashmiris and settling Hindus in IIOJ K.

KP masses to get free medical treatment from next year: Jhagra

Islamabad, December 02, 2020 (PPI-OT):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra says the entire population of the province will get free medical treatment from next year under the Universal Health Insurance scheme. A statement issued in Peshawar today, he said the ratio of patients admitted in hospitals of Malakand division has almost doubled after extending the health programme in the area.
