Karachi, TPL Insurance Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange that board of directors meeting of the company will be held on December 10, 2020 at Karachi, has approved the Annual Budget for the Year 2021.

Further, the company has declared the closed period from December 01, 2020 to December 01, 2020.

Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited formely known as Dawood Hercules Chemicals Limited was incorporated in Pakistan on April 17, 1968 as a public limited company. The foundations of the company have been laid using the Companies Ordinance, 1984.The principal activities of the business are to manage the investments in its subsidiary and associated companies. The shares of the company are quoted on the Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Stock Exchange of Pakistan. The registered office of the company is located in Karachi.

Around 181 Pakistani online exhibitors participating in Online China Expo 2020

Around 181 Pakistani online exhibitors are participating in the everlasting China-South Asia Online Expo 2020 kicked off in Kunming, Yunnan province of China.

China Economic Net reported today (Sunday) that there are a lot of Pakistani food companies participating in the online expo, which were uncommon in the Kunming expo before.

After the expo, the platform will keep providing online services for the exhibitors.

SECP introduces Corporate Insurance Agents Regulations

Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has introduced Corporate Insurance Agents Regulations.

The purposes of these new regulations are to provide maximum protection to insurance policy holders and ensure provision of clear cut and correct information to customers.

These regulations have made the process of selling insurance policy easier, clear and transparent.

Balochistan govt to construct 76 km road from Murgha Fikarzai to Badini

Balochistan Government has decided to construct 76 kilometer road from Murgha Fikarzai to Badini at a cost of 1.5 billion rupees.

Sources of the provincial Communication and Works Department told Radio Pakistan’s Quetta correspondent that 370 million rupees have been allocated in the current year budget for construction of Marget to Degari Cross Road.

Similarly, Surkhab to Khanozai road would be constructed at a cost of 170 million rupees.

Sources further said that 350 million rupees have been allocated to purchase latest machinery for Communication and Works Department.

Pakistan Army arranges three-day medical camp in Diamer district of GB

Pakistan Army in collaboration with Diamer Administration set a three day free medical camp in Dareal area of Diamer district in Gilgit Baltistan.

According to ISPR, more than 1282 patients were provided medical checkup facility and medicines.

Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister Muhammad Khalid Khorsheed and Force Commander Northern Areas visited the camp and highly appreciated services rendered by the medical staff.

Pakistan signs two MoUs with Tanzania

Islamabad, December 12, 2020 (PPI-OT): H.E. Muhammad Saleem, High Commissioner for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the United Republic of Tanzania, called on H.E. Dr. Palamagamba John Aidan Mwaluko Kabudi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, in Dar es Salaam on December 11, 2020, says a press release received here today from Tanzania. As a major leap-forward in bilateral ties, following two MoUs were signed during the meeting:-

Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Bilateral Political Consultations.

Memorandum of Understanding for the Establishment of a Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The MoUs provide the institutional framework for structured dialogue between the two friendly countries in political and economic fields to elevate the relations to higher levels. Both sides are also working on various other initiatives including exchange of high level visits, trade delegations and people-to-people contacts to further strengthen the existing cordial ties.

The bilateral trade between Pakistan and Tanzania during financial year 2019-20 valued US$ 154 million. Pakistani business community has invested around US$490 million in the Tanzanian economy providing employment for 5,400 Tanzanian nationals; both countries are working on realizing the existing trade and investment potential following a Tanzanian trade delegation’s recent visit to Pakistan from November 25 December 01, 2020.
