PTI playing politics on prevailing flood situation: Ahsan

Minister of Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that it is unfortunate that PTI is busy in doing politics in these testing times instead of making concerted efforts to reduce sufferings of the flood-affected people in the country.

Addressing a ceremony in Narowal on Sunday, the Minister said Imran Khan is playing with Pakistan’s interests to keep his politics alive.

The Minister said Imran Khan’s audio leak has ‘shattered’ foreign conspiracy narrative.

PM expresses gratitude to China for extending assistance to flood-hit Pakistan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has thanked China for its generous assistance to support the flood affected people of Pakistan.

In a tweet on Sunday, he said our Chinese friends are continuing to help the flood victims in Pakistan. He said the total volume of aid has increased from 400 million to 644 million Chinese Yuan.

The Prime Minister said we are deeply obliged to Chinese Government, the Communist Party of China, Red Cross Society of China, sister provinces and the People’s Liberation Army for the assistance.
