Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says the government’s youth loan scheme is benefiting hundreds of thousands of unemployed youth in the country.

He was talking to founder of Akhuwat Foundation Amjad Saqib in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister appreciated the foundation for providing interest free loans to youth on easy terms.

Amjad Saqib apprised the Prime Minister of Akhuwat foundation’s provision of interest-free loans to the flood affected people.

CPEC to emerge as game changer for Pakistan’s economy: Ahsan

Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says whole world is looking at Pakistan which is going to be the investment center in the region.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday to celebrate China Pakistan Space Cooperation, he said China Pakistan Economic Corridor is going to be a game changer for Pakistan economy.

The minister said when no country was willing to invest even a single dollar in Pakistan, China agreed to invest 46 billion dollars under CPEC which gave a message to the world that Pakistan is a safe country for investment.

Ahsan Iqbal said political instability and adventurism have been the biggest threat to Pakistan’s economy.

Dar urges business community to donate for quake-hit Turkiye

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has appealed to the business community for generous donations and contributions in relief funds for the earthquake victims of brotherly country Turkiye.

He said this in a virtual interaction with the members of Business Community, Business leaders, heads of Commerce Chambers, heads of Corporate bodies, Bankers and Bankers Associations on Wednesday.

He apprised them of the decision of Cabinet meeting held yesterday to set up Prime Minister Relief fund to support Turkiye Earthquake victims and stand with brotherly country in its difficult time.

The Finance Minister further informed that the Cabinet members will contribute their one month’s salary and the Government servants above 18 grade will donate their one day’s salary in Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for the victims of the Turkiye’s earthquake to show solidarity with our brethren nation in its difficult time.

The Finance Minister further shared that Pakistan and Turkiye share a long-standing relationship of mutual trust, harmony and brotherhood. Both countries have stood by each other during times of crisis. He further expressed resolve of the Government and its people to support and stand with their Turkish brothers and sisters during these testing times.

He also shared the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund account number and title established in the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) i-e “Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Turkiye Earthquake Victims (IBAN: PK18NBPA0001004182864740).
