Islamabad: On the occasion of 65th Independence Day, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Russian Federation Mr. Muhammad Khalid Khattak emphasized the need of unity, tolerance and hard work to steer Pakistan out of difficult problems, says a press release received from Moscow here today.
“Tolerance and accommodation of opposite view points are essential ingredients of democratic and vibrant society and are pre-requisites for progress and development of the nation”
He expressed these views while addressing Pakistani community on the occasion of Pakistan Day here in Moscow.
The flag hoisting ceremony was held in the Embassy premise and the messages of the President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to the nation were also read on the occasion.
