A high level meeting in connection with the upcoming general elections was held with Member of the Election Commission of Pakistan

Peshawar, May, 05 2013 (PPI-OT): A high level meeting in connection with the upcoming general elections was held with Member of the Election Commission of Pakistan, Shahzad Akbar Khan in the chair at the office of the Commissioner Malakand on Sunday.

Besides others, the meeting was attended by Provincial Election Commissioner of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Soono Khan Baluch, Commissioner Malakand Division, Dr. Fakhr-e-Alam Irfan, DIG Malakand, Abdullah Khan, Regional Election Commissioner Malakand, Deputy Commissioners, District Returning Officers, DPOs and political agent Bajaur Agency were also present.

Commissioner and DIG Malakand Division informed the participants about the overall security situation of elections in all districts as well as Bajaur Agency pre, during and post elections. On this occasion, the Provincial Election Commissioner gave guidelines to the DROs, DCs and DPOs in different phases of election.

Soono Khan Baluch gave a message to the masses and voters that after May 8, 2013 they should send their NIC number through SMS on 8300 and get whereabouts of their polling stations.

Member election Commission of Pakistan has showed his satisfaction over the security and other necessary arrangements in Malakand Division and appreciated the endeavors of the participants of the meeting in this regard.
