Ambassador of Republic of Romania called on Federal Minister for Science and Technology

Islamabad, April 16, 2015 (PPI-OT): H.E Emilian ION, Ambassador of Republic of Romania called on Federal Minister for Science and Technology and Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, here in his office. Areas of mutual interest, bilateral ties, and cooperation particularly in the field of Science and Technology and defence related equipments came under discussion in the meeting. While talking to the ambassador the Minister said that Pakistan and Romania enjoy close and cordial relations.

He said that there is a great potential to enhance mutual cooperation, business ties and trade between the two countries. He also emphasized the need to learn from each other’s experiences and adopt best practices in the field of Science and Technology and defence products.

The Romanian ambassador expressed his willingness for cooperation and said that his country interested to strengthen relation with Pakistan. He extended the invitation to Minister to participate in the air show at Bucharest, capital of Romania, scheduled on June 2015, The Minister accepted the invitation and expressed that Pak-Romania bilateral relations would further grow with each passing day.
