Ambassador of Thailand hands over cheque of Rs6m for flood relief assistance

Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan Chakkrid Krachaiwon gave a cheque of six million rupees for flood relief assistance to Foreign Office spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad in Islamabad.

Thespokesperson was told that the amount was collected in Thailand on behalf of a renowned Buddhist Monk.

Thai Ambassador also informed of assistance being arranged by his Government for flood relief activities.

The spokesperson expressed his gratitude to the people of Thailand for their love for Pakistan and solidarity in this difficult time.
