APHC concerned about pellet victims’ plight

Srinagar, December 01, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has expressed serious over the plight of pellet victims, saying that the recent reports of the ophthalmologists from health care centre was alarming and worrying.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said such a situation is distressing and disturbing that how the tall claims of so-called world’s largest democracy are just a hoax and lip service, when actually they vengefully ruin the life of populace by blinding and crippling them for life.

He said, “Such lethal and fatal weapons are nowhere used, but we are being punished and penalized only for our faith and resolve for our freedom,” he added.

Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Hurriyet (TeH) in a statement in Srinagar condemned slapping of draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) on its leader Hamza Shah and detention of its activists including Omar Farooq Dar, Bashir Ahmad Sofi and Sarjan Ahmad, saying “These arbitrary arrests and detentions won’t deter us from pursuing the sacred cause of freedom.”

On the other hand, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat activists Umer Adil Dar and Syed Imtiyaz Haider visited SMHS Hospital to Enquire about Health of Mudasir Ahmad Ganie who is suffering from Pneumonia.

In yet another development, a resident of Kupwara district, Muhammad Abdullah Mir, fed up with nowadays raids by Indian forces on his residence, attempted to commit suicide. Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir leader, Feroz Ahmad Khan in a statement condemned the authorities’ actions, and called upon the international community to take notice of human rights violations in the occupied territory.
