Islamabad, December 17, 2012 (PPI-OT): The visiting delegation of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference met the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, in Islamabad, today. The delegation was led by the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister said, all political parties of Pakistan have consensus over the Kashmir dispute. He maintained that consultations with the APHC were a positive development.
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that the Kashmiris’ struggle for right to self-determination was commendable. He praised political vision and wisdom of the APHC leaders. He maintained that Pakistan supports the just struggle of Kashmiri people and will continue its support till the Kashmir dispute was resolved in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions and the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
The Mirwaiz thanked the government and the people of Pakistan for their unconditional support to the Kashmir cause.
Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Qaira, and high officials of the government were also present in the meeting.
Led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the APHC delegation consists of Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Bilal Ghani Lone, Mukhtar Waza and Musadiq Aadil.
