The Chinese embassy in Pakistan has sent eatables for eight hundred families affected due to floods in district Swat of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the relief goods are being distributed to the affected people.
Similarly, relief packages including tents, mats, health and kitchen sets and blankets have also been sent to Chitral, Kohistan and Buner districts.
According to PDMA, forty-eight people died while sixty-seven got injured due to rains and floods during the last six days.
Similarly, ninety-four houses are completely damaged while one hundred and ninety-one houses are partially damaged due to recent rains and floods.
Meanwhile, provincial minister for culture and labour Shaukat Yousafzai today visited district Shangla and distributed compensation cheques among people affected due to floods and rains.
He was briefed about the damages, relief activities and rehabilitation process in the rain and flood affected areas.
