Atlas Asset Management Limited’s announcement of closed period and meeting of the board of directors

Karachi: This is to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Atlas Asset Management Limited (AAML), the Management Company of Atlas Money Market Fund (AMF), Atlas Income Fund (AIF), Atlas Stock Market Fund (ASMF), Atlas Islamic Income Fund (AIIF), and Atlas Islamic Stock Fund (AISF) will be held on Thursday, July 7,2011 at 9.30 a.m. at AAML’s registered office at Ground Floor, Federation House, Sharae Firdousi, Clifton, Karachi, to consider and approve the final distribution, if any, of AMF, AIF, ASMF, AIIF, and AISF for the year ending June 30, 2011.

The book closure of these funds has already been announced by AAML on June 9, 2011, effective from July 1, 2011 to July 7, 2011, both days inclusive (copy enclosed). Unit holders whose names appear in the register at close of the business on June 30, 2011 will be entitled to dividend/bonus, if any, for the year ending June 30, 2011, that may be declared by the Board of Directors of Atlas Asset Management Limited, the Management Company of AMF, AIF, ASMF, AIIF and AISF. The transactions in units of all the above funds will recommence from Friday, July 8, 2011.

Further, in compliance with Clause xxvi of the Code of Corporate Governance, a Closed Period of the above Funds has been notified from June 30, 2011 to July 7, 2011, both days inclusive.

Unit holders of Atlas Money Market Fund (AMF), Atlas Income Fund (AIF), Atlas Stock Market Fund (ASMF), Atlas Islamic Income Fund (AIIF) and Atlas Islamic Stock Fund (AISF) are hereby informed that the Register of Unit holders will be closed from Friday, July 01, 2011 to Thursday, July 7, 2011, both days inclusive.

The authorized branches of the Distribution companies will received applications for sale, redemption and transfer of units upto June 30, 2011. Unit holders whose names appear in the register at close of the business on June 30, 2011, as applicable, that may be declared by the Board of Directors of Atlas Management Limited, the Management Company of AMF, AIF, ASMF, AIIF, and AISF. The transactions in unit of all the above funds will recommence from Friday, July 8, 2011.

Unit holders are required to notify any changes in address and other particulars to, and make for any information from the Assistant Manager, Investor Services Department at the registered of the Management Company located at Ground Floor, Federation House, Sharah Firdousi, Clifton, Karachi 75600.
