Srinagar, May 19, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) has said that the puppet authorities are prolonging the illegal detention of its Vice Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, by not producing him before courts on the listed dates.

The JKML in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the authorities of Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) Humhama did not produce Masarrat Aalam Butt before the court in a fake case registered against him. Now the court has fixed June 12 as next date for hearing.

The statement maintained that the court had earlier ordered the puppet authorities to shift Masarrat Aalam Butt from Baramulla sub jail to Srinagar central jail, but they, violating the court order, had shifted him to JIC Humhama.
