Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the historic development budget announced by his government will usher in new era of development and prosperity in the province.
In a statement, he said three hundred and forty-five billion have been allocated for education sector in the new budget.
The Chief Minister said that provincial government has taken revolutionary steps for the promotion of education in the province.
He said that five hundred thousand female students are being imparted education in the backward areas of Punjab under Zewar-e-Taleem Program.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Punjab Education Foundation has provided quality education to two point five million deserving students through its program so far.
