6th Consumer Products and Services Quality conference is well focused on betterment of our economy: Sindh Food Minister

Karachi, June 01, 2016 (PPI-OT):Sindh Government is playing an active role to boost trade activities in Sindh and I assured you that we will not let any hurdle in solving problems of trade, industry and environment and safeguarding the interests of the private sector. We support The Consumers Eye Pakistan for successfully organizing consecutive 6th Consumer Products and Services Quality conference-2016 in Pakistan. This was stated by Sindh Food Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah.

He was the Chief Guest in 6th Consumer Product and Services quality conference CPSQC 2016, with the theme of “All Pakistanis have the right to safe high quality Products and Services” organized by The consumers Eye Pakistan (TCEP) with the support of Consumer Pakistan. Sindh Food Minister congratulates TCEP Chairman Umar Ghauri for consecutive convening 6th Quality Conferences in a row.

He said that our government is committed all kind of positive quality related activities. He said that I am confident that our businessmen will venture hard to adhere to highest standards of quality control not only for consumer satisfaction but to boost our exports hence strengthen the Economy. He praised, The consumers Eye Pakistan-TCEP for their efforts to promote Quality standard Culture in Pakistan.

He also acknowledged TCEP Chairman Umar Ghauri for his extra ordinary efforts for Quality Standards culture and the protection of consumer’s rights and his campaign against Counterfeit products in Pakistan. Umar Ghauri, Chairman Consumers Eye Pakistan (TCEP) in his key note speech said that TCEP has been organizing quality conference CPSQC” from last five years to make Pakistan a Consumer’s heaven and to strengthen the country on the basis of Quality, Productivity and Competitiveness for a better future of the coming generations.

Senior Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Khalid Tawab hails 6th Quality conference termed it a key to success for trade and industry in Pakistan and extended FPCCI’s full support to TCEP. Member board of directors Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) Engr. M A Jabbar said that Consumer Products and Services Quality Conference CPSQC has becomes Pakistan’s largest event to help aware about Quality Product and services.

In opening welcome address Mr. Jawed Ahmed Khokhar, Coordinator Consumer Pakistan said that Consumer Pakistan is part of this activity since last year because Consumer Pakistan is committed to serve consumers in all means. In other Speakers Mr. Hamid Maker founder trustee of Helpline Trust, Mr Mukesh Kumar Provincial Chief Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority SMEDA, Mohammad Fayyaz Ahmad Controller of Patents IPO Pakistan, S. M. Misbah-Ud-Din ASST Manager Quality Assurance Shan Foods, Noor Alam General Manager, Marketing KFC, Shakir Gujjar, President Dairy Farming Sindh, Zain-Ul-Arfeen General Manager, A.O. Oil Industries and Ms Ashjan Khan National of Citizen Form.

The seminar covered a wide range of topics relating to Quality matters and quality standards, enforcing laws and the role of Consumer NGO’s protecting consumers. In concluding session Mementos were given to the Guests, Speaker and participant. Vote of thanks was read by Ms Afsheen Khan. The seminar was attended by large number of personalities, representatives from government and corporate sector, Print and electronic media personals, representatives of NGO’s, Social workers students and volunteers.
