Karachi, April 09, 2019 (PPI-OT): President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Junaid Esmail Makda has asked Sindh Building Control Authority to unseal the vehicles’ showrooms at New M. A. Jinnah Road which were sealed without serving any notice during late hours of Monday night.
In statement issued, he said that it was highly unfair to abruptly seal those showrooms at late night whose owners have been running their businesses from these showrooms since last four decades. He said that these showrooms owners have been paying huge amount of taxes to the national exchequer and they are respectable businessmen therefore, the SBCA should not create problems for them and resolve the issues through table talks. In this regard, he offered KCCI’s platform so that all issues between SBCA and showroom owners could be amicably resolved.
