Delegation from Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry visits Police Khidmat Markaz, Sialkot Cantt Police Station and Police Control Room
Sialkot, December 16, 2019 (PPI-OT): On December the 13th, 2019, a delegation from Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by SCCI’s President Mr. Muhammad Ashraf Malik, Senior Vice President Mr. Khurram Azim Khan and members of Executive Committee, on invitation of District Police Officer Captain Retired Mustansar Feroz, visited Police Khidmat Markaz, Sialkot Cantt Police Station, and Police Control Room.
Soon after the visit, President SCCI appreciated and hailed the facilities on offer including Police Verification, Issuance, and Renewal Of Driver’s License, Police Character Certificate, Vehicle Verification, Crime Reporting, General Police Verification, Reporting Of Credentials Loss, Learners Driver’s Permit, International Driver’s Permit, inclusion of Rental Agreements, Reporting Children lost and Domestic violence offered by Sialkot Police to the citizens of Sialkot. “Indeed, all facilities under one roof would not only provide ease in the process but also lessen the public appearance of the citizens in Public Departments” the President added.
President SCCI said that the present District Police Officer, Sialkot was a very competent and composed Officer, who believed in prompt and easy delivery of justice to the common man. He also appreciated DPO Sialkot for ensuring a decrease in crime rate, maintaining law and order and bringing the automatization and up-gradation in the District Police System. He also said that the Business Community of Sialkot encourages the initiative of Sialkot Police i.e. implication of Save-City project plan and installation of CCTV cameras across the city, which would help in decreasing the incidents of crime and would provide constant surveillance of the City.
On the visit of the delegation of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, District Police Officer, Captain Retired Mustansar Feroz, informed about actions being taken for the safety of citizens of Sialkot including the facility of computer-generated FIR at Sialkot Cantt Police Station and ensuring prompt action on each FIR. Furthermore, he also shared updates on the facilities given to the people of the city through the establishment of Police Markaz and day to day surveillance of the city through CCTV systems, under his supervision.
