Exploration of non-traditional items and non-traditional markets essential for promotion of exports of country: Zakaria Usman
Karachi, February 24, 2014 (PPI-OT): Exploration of non-traditional items and non-traditional markets are essential for the promotion of exports of the country and FPCCI is determined to organize country’s participation in maximum international trade fairs and exhibitions which are the modern tool to enhance international bilateral economic trade relations.
While disclosing the program of FPCCI for participation in international fairs, FPCCI President Zakaria Usman informed that FPCCI will organize solo exhibitions in India and Canada coupled with visit of FPCCI trade delegations to different countries.
The program of the FPCCI includes 2nd China South Asia Exposition 2014 – Kunming, 4th China Sichuan Commodity Fair – 2014 – Chengdu, Kashgar International Fair 2014, Euro Asia Commodities Fair- 2014, Urmchi, Commodities Fair 2014, Western China Int’l Fair 2014, Chengdu, 4th China Match Making Forum 2014, Chengdu, Fiera Del Levante Fair 2014, Bari, Italy and India International Trade Fair 2014, New Delhi, India.
China and India are the target market which will be explored by participation in their trade fairs and exhibitions. He also informed that FPCCI will also organize an international trade exhibition in Karachi in the last quarter of 2014 for which preparations have already been initiated.
In recent meeting held with Federal Minister of Commerce Mr. Khurram Dastagir, the President FPCCI had also emphasized on mobilization of all resources and liberalizes the trade and trade policies and maximum participation in trade fairs and exhibitions.
