Islamabad, September 24, 2013 (PPI-OT): Mr. Abdul Khaliq Khan, Acting President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Mr. Tariq Sayeed, Vice President of Confederation of Asia Pacific CCI and former President FPCCI, Mr. S. M. Muneer, President Pak-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Iftikhar Ali Malik, Vice President of SAARC CCI and the Vice Presidents of FPCCI Mr. Shaheen Ilyas Sarwana, Mr. Gulzar Firoz, Mr.Azhar Saeed Butt, Mr. Muhammad Ali, Mr. Naveed Jan Baloch, Mr. Muhammad Zafar Jalil Khan, Khawaja Muhammad Iqbal and Mrs. Rukhsana Jahangir have strongly condemned the incidence of twin bomb blasts at All Saints Church in Peshawar claiming life of 81 innocent people and 148 injured.
While expressing their solidarity with the Christian community the office bearers of FPCCI reaffirmed that the entire business community stands with them and the grieved families at this time of distress. They also appreciated the patience demonstrated by the Christian community across Pakistan which reflects their patriotism and unity to eradicate anti Pakistan elements.
The office bearers demanded high handed proceeding against those involved in this brutal act having ulterior motives and anti Pakistan agenda to destabilize Pakistan and creating an adverse image of Pakistan in the eyes of international community. They further demanded that government should ensure strict security measure on all worship places avert such incidents.
