Capital Development Authority asked to shift auto workshops from city to Auto Market

Islamabad, April 11, 2014 (PPI-OT): Local traders have called upon the Capital Development Authority to shift all auto workshops from the city to I-10/3 Auto Market. Khalid Chaudhry, Senior Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Secretary Information of Traders Action Committee, Islamabad said that with the efforts of ICCI, CDA had allotted plots in I-10/3 Sector through restricted auction for shifting of auto workshops from the city to that place, but many auto workshops have still not been shifted.

He said this while congratulating Mr. Asif Mehmood on being elected as the President, Traders Welfare Association, G-7 Khadda Market, Islamabad. He said the matter of shifting the remaining auto workshops from the city to I-10/3 will be taken up with CDA. He said CDA’s management is business friendly and hoped that it will take measures to shift all workshops from the city to I-10/3 area.

Khalid Chaudhry said Khadda Market is located near CDA Headquarters, but is still facing many problems. He was optimistic that Chairman CDA and Member Admin will take required steps to address the problems of this market. He called upon the traders to develop unity in their ranks for better protection of their rights.
