Caretaker Punjab Govt announces free flour under ‘special package’

Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi says provincial government will provide free flour to public under a special package during Ramadan.

Addressing a meeting of all Divisional Commissioners and RPOs in Lahore on Sunday, he directed officials to implement special package efficiently.

The Caretaker Chief Minister also directed to prepare an effective mechanism for stability of prices of essential commodities during Ramadan.

He said government will take strict action against hoarders and profiteers during holy month.

About agricultural sector, he directed authorities to start crackdown against manufacturers and sellers of fake pesticides.
