Chief Executive Trade Development Authority of Pakistan inaugurates Pakistan Pavilion at Hong Kong

Hongkong, March 31, 2014 (PPI-OT): Sheikh Saqib Saeed Masood, Chairman, Pakistan Tanners Association and Mr. Ghufran Memon, consul general, consulate general of Pakistan, Hongkong issued joint press statement to local print and electronic media here in Hongkong that a formal inaugural ceremony of pakistan pavilion was held today at the entrance area of pakistan pavilion in hall at Hongkong convention and exhibition centre, Wanchai, Hongkong and the chief executive, trade development authority of pakistan, Mr. S.M. Muneer has inaugurated the pakistan pavilion. It was the first inauguration of national pavilion organised by PTA in collaboration with TDAP and consulate general of Pakistan, Hongkong by newly appointed chief executive, TDAP, Mr. S.M. Muneer.

While talking to the media here in Hongkong, the chief executive, TDAP, Mr. S.M. Muneer informed that 80 member exporters of finished leather, leather garments, footwear gloves, made-ups, products are displaying their finest/innovative quality products in finished forms to the respective booths in Hongkong and TDAP has provided a viable platform for showcasing their products to attract the foreign buyers/customers during the fair to enable the exporters to achieve the desired objectives/goals for their participation in world mega leather event in Hongkong.

Mr. Saqib Masood, Chairman, PTA also shared his views on this auspicious occasion that it is a great opportunity for PTA’s member participants to take maximum advantage from it by getting maximum share of Chinese markets to expand the trade volume with China/Hongkong and PTA has arranged an attractive national pavilion with all facilities in collaboration with the consulate general of pakistan, Hongkong to avail benefits to conclude the business for the supreme motive to promote the country’s exports to the desired extent.

Mr. Ghufran Memon, consul general of Pakistan, Hongkong assured his all support to make Pakistan’s participation a real success. 50 years’ celebration of pakistan tanners association During the above inaugural ceremony of pakistan pavilion in aplf-2014, pakistan tanners association also celebrated its 50 years’ anniversary on the occasion.
