Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa calls on Prime Minister

Islamabad, January 28, 2014 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that present situation demands that all stakeholders including provincial governments stand united against the menace of terrorism. He said this while meeting Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Parvaiz Khattak at PM House Islamabad today. Federal Minister for Finance Mr. Ishaq Dar and Senior Minister KP Mr. Siraj-ul-Haq were also present in the meeting.

Prime Minister said that Federal Government values the contributions of all provincial governments towards strengthening the federation and further said that the Federal Government understands the problems faced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government regarding tackling terrorism.

The meeting also discussed the development activities being carried out in KP. Prime Minister said that the Federal Government will provide support to the provincial government in order to overcome their problems and directed Finance Minister to hold threadbare discussions with the Chief Minister KP and other Provincial Government officials on the issues being faced by them.
