Chief Secretary Sindh emphasises upon Commissioner and Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation to jointly ensure systematic functioning of surveillance installed in the city

Karachi, September 09, 2013 (PPI-OT): Chief Secretary Sindh Muhammad Ejaz Chaudhry has emphasized upon the Commissioner Karachi and Administrator KMC to jointly ensure the systematic functioning of the surveillance installed in the city, in collaboration with Home Department and Sindh Police.

With reference to recent meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary Sindh on September 05, 2013, Ejaz Chaudhry noted that smooth functioning of the CCTV network, which needs the adequate and sufficient command and control system, he added.

The Chief Secretary maintained that regular and strict monitoring is much essential for maintaining law and order and system to the entire satisfaction of Government are the masses. He has also called a report maintenance and repair of the CCTV cameras within 02 day.

Moreover, the Chief Secretary has also sought a comprehensive report regarding status of Zulfiqarabad Oil Terminal (ZOT), with the specific references of Physical Progress, Road, Water Supply and Electric System, Building Works, Financial Progress, Parking area allocation, Toilet Blocks, Retiring Sheds, overhead Water Tank, Mosque, Boundary Wall, underground tanks, additional facilities, and reason for delay in the project’s accomplishment.
