Chinese troops entered Ladakh, burnt tents: BJP MP

New Delhi, July 27, 2014 (PPI-OT): Chinese troops entered India-occupied Demchok area of Ladakh sector on last Friday, disclosed an Indian parliamentarian hailing from BJP. Member of Indian parliament from Ladakh, Thupstan Chhewang has confirmed that the Chinese troops had entered the area and destroyed the tents of Indian shepherds in Leh district.

Earlier also, Peoples Liberation Army personnel entered Charding Nilu Nullah Junction (CNNJ) in Demchok sector on their vehicles claiming it was Chinese territory, the reports added. The area is looked after by personnel of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), a force which guards the India-China border.
