Chromalloy Appoints New Sales Director for Industrial Gas Turbine Service and Repairs in Asia

Chromalloy announced today that it has appointed industry veteran Jean Benert as Director of Sales for the company’s Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) business in Asia.

“Jean will be instrumental in growing sales across Asia to reach new operators with superior parts and long-term service agreements that offer significant value and cost savings,” said Pat McEvoy, Managing Director, Chromalloy. “He brings strong technical and commercial expertise and in-depth knowledge of Asia.”

Benert will be based at Chromalloy’s Bangkok, Thailand, turbine engine component service and repair center.

Previously he was Country Manager, Indochina, for the Wood Group, a position he held for several years. He was responsible for successfully growing sales in repairs, new parts and technical services.

Earlier he was Contract Performance Manager and Operations Manager at GE, where he managed all Long Term Service Agreements in a position in Thailand he held for several years. Prior to that, he worked as Country Manager at Alstom for 17 years and for seven years at Alstom he was at company operations in China.

Benert holds a Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Lycee d etat Lievin in France and is a graduate of the French Naval Academy in Toulon.
