Cleanliness campaign Karachi campaign will continue: Murtaza Wahab

Karachi, October 21, 2019 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister for Law, Environment and Coastal Development, Barrister Murtaza Wahab told Asid that Solid West Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Alam Solangi had 464390 tonnes of waste a month from his management and joint efforts of district municipal corporations and sanitation. Has been lifted from the districts of Karachi. The campaign will continue. This he said while addressing a press conference at Media Corner in Sindh Assembly Building here on Monday.

He said that garbage has been transported from different areas of the city to the landfill site and they have participated in the cleanup campaign. He also appreciated the services of the officers and staff. He also said that he was grateful for the cooperation of the citizens in the cleanup campaign which carried out the work in the right direction. He added that 450000 tonnes of garbage was collected from roads and deposited at GTS points, which was set up in Sharfi Goth and then GTS points would be restored after cleaning the city.
