CM Murad Emphasizes Action Against Dacoits in Katcha Areas of Sukkur, Larkana

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah chaired a meeting in Karachi to review the law and order situation in the Katcha areas of Sukkur and Larkana divisions. Addressing the meeting, he directed the concerned authorities to maintain an ideal law and order situation in the Katcha areas and emphasized taking necessary measures to stop forced kidnappings and honey traps.

According to Radio Pakistan, Syed Murad Ali Shah stressed that kidnapping for ransom will not be tolerated under any circumstances and instructed action against dacoits involved in looting passengers on the highway. It was also reported that eight notorious dacoits were killed during ongoing operations, and that eighty-eight people have been rescued in ninety-one kidnapping cases this year. Additionally, 287 people have been rescued from honey traps.

Syed Murad Ali Shah directed that police personnel at various stations be kept vigilant and that dacoits be eliminated at all costs to maintain law and order in the Katcha areas.
