Colonel Arif Mehmood laid to rest at Chakwal

Rawalpindi: Colonel Arif Mehmood (Late) laid down his life, while making a daring attempt to save the lives of his soldiers in a rescue operation at Attabad Lake, Hunza on 19 May 2011. He was Commander Frontier Works Organization of Attabad Lake Project.

His act of bravery and dedication will go a long way. His Nama-e-Janaza was offered today at Chakwal, which was attended by large number of senior military, civil officials and others.
