Karachi, June 30, 2019 (PPI-OT): Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani returned back 50 mobiles to their owners at simple ceremony was held at his office here today. Deputy Chief CPLC Shoukat Ali and others were also present. He briefed the Commissioner Karachi about the details of 50 mobile snatched between 2 months to 2 years [2016-2018] these were recovered through the cooperation of mobile market business men, earlier 50 mobile s were handed over to their owners by Karachi Police the other day, while 10 mobile were also given by CPLC recently.
NO FIR was lodged against snatched mobiles but with the help and assistance of technology and data of CPLC, it could be possible and regular feature, the mobile are worth of Rs, 60,000/=. He further briefed that Commissioner Karachi has resolved issues with the help of CPLC and Police to provide relief to the general public especially mobile returning to their owners etc.
Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani has appreciated the efforts of CPLC and congratulated the owners that they get their worth full mobiles and other things as the Government is doing and taking steps to ensure the safety of the lives and properties of people, with the help of CPLC and Police will also maintain the same on priority basis in future, for maximum relief and peace to the people of city, he added.
Owners of the mobiles also thanked the Commissioner Karachi, Govt of Sindh, Police and CPLC for returns back of their valuable things and mobiles. They hoped that they will continue their efforts to provide peaceful environment and relief to them. They has also gave details of snatched mobile during the period.
