Delegation meet Chief Minister Punjab and Minister of Punjab for Commerce, Industrialization and Investment to discuss and share industry-related issues of members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Sialkot, January 24, 2020 (PPI-OT): On January 24, 2020, a delegation led by Mr. Muhammad Ashraf Malik President SCCI, including Former President SCCI Mr. Khawar Anwar Khawaja, Mr. Fazal Jilani, and CEO AirSial Mr. Ameen Ahsan, met Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and Minister of Punjab for Commerce, Industrialization and Investment Mian Aslam Iqbal, to discuss and share industry-related issues of members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Chief Punjab and Mian Aslam Iqbal during the meeting, principally agreed on the establishment of the Special Economic Zone in Sialkot, near Sialkot-Lahore motorway. Chief Minister also ensured the business community of Sialkot that, Government of Punjab would soon release the funds required for completion of Road Infrastructural Development projects within the Sialkot District. Mian Aslam Iqbal Minister of Punjab said that the Government of Punjab will also ensure the completion of Infrastructural Development Rehabilitation in Export Processing Zone (EPZ) Sialkot.

President SCCI Muhammad Ashraf Malik acknowledged Mr. Usman Dar Advisor to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs and Mr. Asad Umar Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives, for their kind support and co-operation in arranging the meeting and coming from Islamabad to attend the meeting. He acknowledged Chief Minister Punjab for patiently listening to the issues of the Sialkot Industry and assuring full support of the Government, on economic and infrastructural development in the Golden Economic Triangle.
