Larkana: The Deputy Commissioner Larkana Mr. Abdul Aleem Lashari presided over a meeting in connection with to implement the Orders of Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan to remove the encroachment from Pakistan Railway Lands in Larkana District at his office here today.
The Meeting reviewed and discussed in detail, the Assistant Engineer (AEN) Pakistan Railway Larkana Mr. Akhtar Ali informed the meeting that the 14 days notices were served to unauthorized encroachers on Railway Land in Larkana city.
The AEN Pakistan Railway assured the meeting the plan for removal of encroachments will be provided by him to the Deputy Commissioner and SSP Larkana by 10th March 2012.
During the meeting SSP Larkana MR. Aitzaz Goraya discussed in detail in this regard and asked Railway Authorities Larkana that the list of Masjids / Imambargahs along with both sides of Railway track may also be provided to him, besides the all formalities in this regard may also be completed, so that the orders of Honourable Supreme Court may be implemented in letter and spirit.
The Meeting decided that 3 day joint operation from Railway Crossing New Bus Stand to Ghinti Phatak in Larkana city will be carried out on March 17, 18 and 19, 2012, in order to implement the orders of Honourable Supreme Court. It was also decided that during the operation the Magisterial cover may also be ensured.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the Railway Authorities of his full cooperation in this regard and directed AEN Railway Larkana that the demarcation of encroachment on the both side of Railway Track may be ensured before the operation and it was also decided that the flag march in this regard will be carried out on March 14, 2012.
The Meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner I Mr. Asadullah Abro, Assistant Commissioner Larkana Mr. Ghulam Murtaza Shaikh, AEN Railway, Mukhtiarkar Revenue and other concerned officials of different Departments were preset.
