Development work in the North Karachi Industrial Area accelerated

Karachi, December 09, 2019 (PPI-OT): North Karachi Industrial Development and Management Company (NKIDMC) has accelerated the pace of development work in connection with the improvement of infrastructure in Industrial Area. In this regard, not only roads have been constructed but carpeting has been continued in addition to road maintenance.

According to NKIDMC, development work has also started on Road 2000, which was halted due to encroachment. However, construction of the road is now being completed following the removal of the barriers, which will help the industries located in the North Karachi Industrial Area to deliver the raw material, while exporting industries will also facilitate timely delivery goods to the port to fulfill foreign orders.

The management company for the restoration of infrastructure of North Karachi Industrial Area has completed 3 projects at present and 91% of the fourth project has also been completed. NKIDMC has also established a regular Vigilance Department for the maintenance and repair of infrastructure in the North Karachi Industrial Area to make the infrastructure secure and usable for long-term.
