DIG Hyderabad organizes seminar on “Bridging Gaps – A dialogue for Public Police Cooperation at Police Stations”

Hyderabad, November 27, 2016 (PPI-OT): Mr. Khadim Hussain Rind DIG Hyderabad organized a seminar on “Bridging Gaps: – A dialogue for Public Police cooperation at Police stations”, at Shaheed Wahid Bux Laghari Auditorium, Hyderabad. The seminar was divided into three sessions. A first session was focused on experts from all over Sindh. Fouzia Tariq CEO MCTS, Niaz Siddiki, Former IG Sindh were among main guest speakers.

Ms. Fouzia Tariq focused on the strategies of strengthening community-police relations. Niaz A. Siddiki explained the Fundamental Human Rights Guaranteed in the Constitution of Pakistan. Other guest speaker put a light on the areas where SHO’s are facing problems in communicating with public.

The Second session was a panel discussion. A distinguished panellists were Mr. Moula Bux Chandio, Advisor to CM on information, Justice (R) Subhani and Mr. Shahid Nadeem Baloch Former IG Sindh. Panellists highlighted the issues which public is facing due to negligence of Police Officers at Police Station level.

The Third session was an open discussion between Hyderabad Police and Public in the Auditorium chaired by A.D Khowaja, IG Sindh along with Mr. Khadim Rind DIG Hyderabad and all the SSP’s of different areas of Hyderabad. Hyderabad Police team assured their full cooperation to public at Police station levels. In the end, A.D Khowaja IG Sindh distributed Shields amongst the guest speakers and lauded the efforts of DIG Hyderabad for organising such an important and informative seminar.
