Director General Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation says she wants Radio Pakistan to be the number one Radio channel of Asia

Islamabad, May 21, 2013 (PPI-OT): Director General Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Samina Pervaiz says she wants Radio Pakistan to be the number one Radio channel of Asia.

Addressing a function of CBA Union of Radio Pakistan in Islamabad this afternoon‚ she said Radio Pakistan was and is a vibrant institution and efforts should be made to improve it.

The Director General urged all the departments of PBC to improve their performance to attract more and more listeners.

She said Radio Pakistan is like a family and it should act like a family.

She assured the employees of her full cooperation to resolve their problems on priority basis.

Secretary General CBA Union of Radio Pakistan Muhammad Ijaz congratulated the Director General for assuming the charge as first woman head of the Institution.
