Dr. Baig to attend life style Pakistan in Delhi

Karachi: A high powered delegation will leave for Delhi on 11th April, 2012. The delegation will be headed by Minister of Commerce Makhdoom Amin Faheem and comprising of Secretary Commerce Zafar Mahmood, CEO, TDAP Tariq Puri, Federal Advisor Textile Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig and large number of leading businessmen.

TDAP is organizing Life Style Pakistan Exhibition 2012 in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 12th to 15th April, 2012, where leading Pakistani exporters will be show casing their products. Federation of Indian Commerce and Industry has arranged B2 to B2 meetings of the businessmen of both countries. FPCCI will be represented by Tariq Sayeed and Iftikhar Ali Malik. During the exhibition both the Commerce Ministers are hosting cultural programs and fashion shows.

Dr. Baig will also meeting his Indian counterpart in Delhi along with Pakistani Minister Trade Naeem Anwar to discuss the shipment of Indian cotton purchased by the Pakistani Millers but the delivery is on hold due to recent Indian Government ban on export of raw cotton. Dr. Baig said, the visit will explore new avenues for the Pakistani businessmen for the large Indian market. Dr. Baig together with his wife will also be visiting Ajmer Sharif to pay homage at the Mazar of Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti (R.A).
