Islamabad, April 18, 2014 (PPI-OT): In a follow up meeting on April 17, 2014, Awareness and Prevention Division NAB (HQs) advised Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) authorities under the relevant law Chapter IV of Drugs Act-1976 to instruct all Pharmaceutical Companies to share their data on company websites and DRAP’s website regarding expenses incurred on marketing of drugs.
The subject information should contain such information with complete list of doctors/ consultants invited for conferences, donations and other facilities (gifts, appliances, excursion, foreign tours etc) offered to hospitals and private practitioners.
