Lahore, August 06, 2014 (PPI-OT): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has issued instructions to Punjab Information Technology Board to formulate recommendations for the promotion of e-governance and paperless system.
He directed that a plan be evolved immediately for promoting e-governance in the province as it will improve efficiency of public sector departments and institutions and facilitate the masses. He said that promotion of e-governance will result in quick and quality services to the citizens besides time and resources will also be saved. He said that this system will also help preserve the record of government departments and institutions in a better manner.
