New Delhi (IINA) � Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is currently visiting India, met Tuesday with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
Abbas briefed Modi on the latest developments on the Palestinian cause, including efforts to revive the Middle East peace process, in addition to the situation of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, who have been on hunger strike for 30 days.
The two sides also discussed efforts to promote economic ties between India and Palestine, particularly in the field of religious tourism. They further stressed efforts to combat terrorism and achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
