Exhibition Professional Beauty Expo 2015 in South Africa (30-31 August, 2015) held

Karachi, August 31, 2015 (PPI-OT): ‘Professional Beauty Expo 2015’ in South Africa is by far the biggest exhibition in its product sector, held in the Africa region. Several hundreds of businessmen, beauticians, and health and beauty professionals participated in the exhibition, where more than two hundred exhibitors from fifteen countries showcased their products.

TDAP took the initiative of participating in the exhibition for the first time this year. The companies which participated in Pro Beauty this year, received a positive response from the market and the High Commissioner of Pakistan to South Africa H.E. Najm Us Saqib appreciated the export quality goods from Pakistan. Pakistan’s Commercial Secretary in South Africa, Mr. Qamar Zaman, arranged B2B meetings for the Pakistani exporters as well.

Pakistan’s first ever participation in the Expo is a commendable effort by TDAP. Being the second fastest growing economy in the world after Asia-Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa is considered as the ‘next consumer hotspot’ with 821 million consumers at home. Also, the cosmetic industry is a rapidly developing business area, with a lot of potential for Pakistani exporters. Therefore, Pro Beauty, South Africa marks the beginning of a new venture for Pakistan in the African market.
