Faisalabad Electric Supply Company Second Circle disconnected the Water and Sanitation Agency and Corporation electricity connection on the liability of Rs.540 million

Faisalabad, March 28, 2023 (PPI-OT): Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) Second Circle disconnected the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and Corporation electricity connection on the liability of Rs.540 million. On the special directives of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) FESCO, Eng. Bashir Ahmed, recovery campaign against the government defaulting departments is in full swing.

In this connection, action was initiated against the defaulting government departments under the supervision of Superintending Engineer (SE) Second Circle Amir Khan, in which the electricity connection of WASA Disposal Station and People’s Colony WASA Offices were disconnected on the pending dues of Rs. 419.96 million, while Corporation and streetlights connection severed on non-payment of Rs.128.51 million.

Final notices were served to the defaulting government departments for payment of the arrears, but payment of dues could not be made possible, on which the electricity connections of these departments were disconnected and will not be restored until full payment of the dues.
