Federal Committee on Agriculture meeting being held today

Islamabad, October 13, 2014 (PPI-OT): The high powered Federal Committee on Agriculture (FCA) meeting for Rabi 2014-15 will be held today in auditorium of Ministry of Planning, Development and Reforms under the Chairmanship of Federal Minister for Ministry of National Food Security and Research.

In the meeting, committee will review the performance of Kharif Crops (2014) and production plan for Rabi Crops (2014-15). The Committee will also discuss the position of supply of agricultural inputs for the Rabi crops e.g. Seeds, Fertilizers, Irrigation water, Agricultural credits and Plant Protection of 2014-15.

In this regard Federal Minister Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan will also brief the media at 0400 P.M. evening today, in the committee room of Ministry of National Food Security and Research B block Pak Secretariat Islamabad.

The other participants of the meeting will be provincial Agriculture Department, Indus River System Authority (IRSA), Pakistan Meteorological Department, State Bank of Pakistan, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd (ZTBL), National Fertilizer Development Center (NFDC) and senior officers of Ministry of National Food Security and Research.
