Federal government to continue giving administrative and political support to Balochistan: Ch. Nisar

Islamabad, February 11, 2014 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the federal government would continue to give administrative and political support to the Balochistan government. He said this while talking to Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch who met him here this afternoon.

The Minister said that security agencies, federal intelligence departments and the federal government will work together to bring about improvement in law and order situation in Balochistan and fully support the government of Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch.

He said the reservations of a few PML (N) Ministers and Advisors will be addressed. The current ruling coalition should work together for the betterment of Balochistan and Pakistan and put the province on the road to prosperity and development through good governance, he said.

Dr. Abdul Malik said that situation in Balochistan, particularly in Quetta is improving. Both the leaders expressed satisfaction that there has been a sharp decline in major incidents of terrorism during the last three months in Balochistan with the exception of the attack on Zaireen in Mastung. It was agreed that close political liaison will be maintained and reservations of each other shall be addressed.
